DingTalk Steps Into AI Hardware With Office-Focused Solution

In a move blending innovation with practicality, DingTalk has launched its first enterprise AI hardware system at today's product conference. Dubbed 'DingTalk Real,' the solution aims to bridge digital and physical workspaces through three core capabilities: physical presence (Real Entity), data processing (Real Data), and instant response (Real Time).

More Than Just Another Smart Device

The hardware operates on internal networks while maintaining access to public information - a dual approach that addresses both security and functionality needs. What sets it apart is its deep integration with DingTalk's office Agents, enabling autonomous handling of complex tasks without constant human oversight.

Alongside the hardware launch, DingTalk revealed its Enterprise Agent OS called 'Wukong.' This system-level Agent acts as a central manager for various applications, creating what the company describes as "a complete AI operating system for businesses."

Addressing the Elephant in the Room: AI Safety

During demonstrations showcasing the system's autonomous capabilities, CEO Chen Hang tackled industry concerns about AI control head-on - with humor and practicality. "Our security logic is robust," he explained, "but we've included one final safety measure any business owner will appreciate."

The crowd chuckled as he revealed what might be history's simplest AI failsafe: a power button. "When all else fails," Chen joked while miming pulling a plug, "we believe in keeping solutions straightforward."

This physical-level emergency revocation function underscores DingTalk's approach to balancing cutting-edge technology with practical business needs. While competitors focus solely on digital safeguards, DingTalk Real offers executives something more tangible - literal control over their AI systems.
