DevRev Unveils AI 'Computer' to Tackle Enterprise Data Silos

Beyond Traditional Chatbots

The company distinguishes Computer from conventional tools by emphasizing its active workflow capabilities. Unlike passive search interfaces, Computer can:

  • Create and update tasks
  • Execute workflows across integrated systems
  • Synchronize data between CRM platforms, product backlogs, and communication tools

"AI needs to go beyond passive searching," said DevRev CEO Dheeraj Pandey, formerly of Nutanix. "Our core goal is to unify data and actively support business processes."

Technical Architecture and Pricing

The system leverages:

  • Edge computing for reduced latency
  • Micro-leasing infrastructure to lower costs The company plans a usage-based pricing model with freemium options for startups and expanded features for enterprises.

Solving Structural Fragmentation

The product addresses a longstanding challenge in enterprise software: specialized tools creating departmental silos. Computer integrates both structured and unstructured data through proprietary technologies:

  1. Computer Memory: Maintains context across interactions
  2. Computer Airsync: Enables real-time synchronization with permission controls

Early Adoption Results

Pilot tests with companies like Velocity Global and Bill.com demonstrated:

  • 85% automatic resolution of support tickets
  • 50% reduction in support costs These metrics suggest significant potential for operational efficiency improvements.

The launch represents DevRev's broader mission since its 2020 founding: using its Enterprise Knowledge Graph to bridge gaps between customer support, product management, and engineering teams. ---

Key Points:

  • 🚀 Active workflow AI: Computer executes tasks beyond information retrieval
  • 🔗 System integration: Connects CRM, documents, and communication platforms
  • 💰 Cost savings: Early tests show 50% reduction in support expenses
  • 📅 Availability: Public release planned for late 2025
